I have been asked by Packt Publishing to run a competition to give away two copies of their new SBS Book (MCTS): Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard, Configuring (70-169) Certification Guide
How you can win:
To win your copy of this book, all you need to do is come up with a comment below highlighting the funniest reason you can think of as to why i should pick you.
Duration of the contest & selection of winners:
The contest is valid until the 30th June, and is open to everyone. Winners will be selected on the basis of their comment posted.
Winners will be posted on the 2nd July.
Yes, for those smart people out there, this is the same competition that Sean Daniel, and others are running, but not the same prizes. Yes, the prizes are the same, ie 2 copies of the book, but, Sean has two different copies that i have. Yes, it is the same book, but not physically the same, ie, technically there are 4 or more books being awarded, i have 2 of them.
Hope that is all perfectly clear.

I could use this book because Microsoft says I don’t need an expensive IT person to set up and manage SBS. So I’ll need something to burn when the high-priced IT consulting work goes away.

I still think Windows SBS is a special edition for the SBS broadcast company in Australia when I call up Microsoft Activation!
I should win the book so that I can study for the exam and sit it just before SBS 2013 is released. Like most of what we do my certification will be redundant before I get to use it.

Before we get into this I want to specify that if you pick me as the winner I want the third copy of the book. Not the first, second or fourth! Why you ask? Well 3 is my lucking number and trust me, I will need all the luck I can get when I am writing this exam!
Now picture this. A small, cute German Shepard puppy staring back at you through the glass of its cage at the pet store. You can tell, just by that one look it gives you, it’s saying “Pick me, pick me, pick me!” Despite your better judgement, I mean you have nowhere to keep it and your girlfriend is probably going to have a fit, you go ahead and buy the puppy anyway!
So here is my attempt :-) this is my long strictly platonic look saying “Pick me, pick me, pick me!” OK, OK, I admit, I have to work on my smile a little, but still, not bad for a future SBS 2011 specialist!
Pick me because I work in a school dealing with ‘Children’ and need to better my life by learning something that doesn’t include a future with them forever, else I will die young and mental.
I’m one SBS book shy of being able to boost my seat high enough so that I can finally reach the server!
