Quick Fix: Office 365 – The following products cannot be installed at the same time
May 15, 2019 5 Comments
Just a quick post, hit this today with a USB pen drive i keep some deployment tools on. If you are trying to install Office 365 desktop software and you see this message:
Don’t waste any time trying to find any remnance of a previous Office installation, chances are it is not there!
Download the latest version of the Office Deployment Tool, and while you;re at it head over to the Office Customisation Tool for help with those XML configuration files.
Hi Robert, sorry for the post here as I have been unable to post on TechNet. I have been using your script Password Expiry Email Notification and it is working great. The issue just started with emails not being sent. Upon review of the logs i noticed “skipped interval”. So for the first half of the month emails were sent and then the second half they were not with this error. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Does it work without the interval parameter?
Yes Sir it sure does. It has worked without the parameter 5 days straight (since I removed it). Thank you for your time.
What interval settings did you use?
Hi Robert,
Here are my partial arguments: PasswordChangeNotification.ps1 -expireInDays 10 -interval 1,2,5,10
Thanks again for your help!
